Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication (2FA), also known as two-step verification, offers an extra layer of account protection. When this option is enabled, upon login on an unrecognised device, a verification SMS is sent to the configured telephone number. As an additional layer of account security, it is extremely recommended that this option is enabled.

To enable two-factor authentication click the account name when logged in to the Quicklink Manager.

Click My Account from the drop down menu.

With the My Account window open, tick the box next to Enable two-factor authentication. You will also need to ensure the telephone number is correct, and that it can be accessed using an SMS-enabled device (such as a mobile).

Click Save when you're done to apply the settings.
