Using QuickLink StudioPro you can very easily stream your productions to Wowza. You can start a 30-day free trial of Wowza, here. Additionally, you can find more information about Wowza Video on the Wowza website.
You will firstly need to log in to your Wowza account, click here, enter your Wowza user credentials, then click Sign In.
Once logged into the Dashboard, click Add Live Stream.
Add a name for your live stream, then select your streaming region. This should be the location closest to you. Click Next.
Firstly ensure that RTMP is selected as the encoder to use to connect to Wowza Video. Select Push Stream type, and Push to a stream source.
Enter your Input Resolution. For best results, this should match your Output Resolution in QuickLink StudioPro. When entered, click Next.
Configure your Playback Settings. From here you can change your player type, appearance, and more. When configured, click Next.
Customise the settings of your Hosted Page. From here you can use a custom page title, display a logo, enter a description and enable/disable social icons. Click Next.
Review your live stream setup, source and settings. Once happy, click Finish.
Your stream is now created. From your Stream Overview page, scroll to Stream Information, copy and make a note of your Primary Server and Stream Name.
Once you have copied your stream information, scroll to Video Preview, then click Start Live Stream.
Returning to QuickLink StudioPro, open the settings by clicking the icon.
On the Stream tab of Settings, below RTMP, click Add Target.
Enter a friendly name for your Stream (i.e Wowza Stream). Paste the Premiary Server copied previously into the RTMP Server box. Next, paste the Source Name copied previously into the RTMP Key box. When done, click OK to apply your stream settings.
Your Wowza stream is now configured and you are ready to begin streaming. When you are ready to stream, click Start Streaming.
Your stream will now initiate. You can return to your Wowza Video Overview to check your stream. Selecting the Playback tab will allow you to view your stream in an embedded player.
To stop streaming, press Stop Streaming in the bottom right hand corner of the QuickLink StudioPro interface or from the Streaming tab in the Settings window.
