- System Restart
- Restart units periodically to refresh and maintain performance.
- Software and Firmware Updates
- Install all official QuickLink updates as they become available.
- Updates must only be applied from official QuickLink sources.
- Third-Party Software
- Installation of third-party applications is not supported. If installed, this is done entirely at the operator’s own risk.
- Antivirus
- Antivirus software may be installed at the operator’s discretion. Compatibility and performance cannot be guaranteed.
- Hardware Lifecycle
- Hardware exceeding five (5) years of service should be evaluated for replacement.
- Physical Environment
- Ensure proper ventilation and airflow.
- Keep vents and fans free of dust.
- Operate equipment in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.
- Power and Cabling
- Inspect power supplies and cabling regularly for signs of wear or damage.
- Use only approved power sources and accessories.
- Security
- Use strong, unique passwords for all administrative access.
- Restrict system access to authorized personnel only.
- Keep operating system and drivers updated.
- Monitoring and Logging
