Navigate to the Audinate website and download the latest version of the Dante Virtual Soundcard:

Once Dante Virtual Soundcard has finished downloading, run the .exe file.
When prompted, read the license agreement, check ‘I agree to the licence terms and conditions’, then click ‘Install’.
Once installed, click ‘Launch’.
You will get a prompt asking to check for updates automatically. Click
‘Check automatically’.
You will also get an error that Dante Virtual Soundcard does not have a valid licence. To acquire a license, click here, select your license type and purchase:

Once you have acquired your licence key, you will need to activate it in the Dante Virtual Soundcard application. Open Dante Virtual Soundcard and choose the ‘Licensing’ tab. Paste your licence key from the Audinate Dante website into the License ID and click ‘Activate’.
Configuring your Dante audio for inputs/outputs
On the ‘Settings’ tab, change the audio interface to ‘WDM’.
Next click ‘Start’.
Open the Sound Control Panel by right clicking the speaker icon in your task bar, then selecting ‘Open Sound settings’. Scroll down and select ‘Sound Control Panel’.
When in the Sound Control Panel, select the ‘Recording’ tab. Next select ‘DVS Receive 1-2’ and click ‘Properties’.
In the ‘Advanced’ tab, change the default format to ‘2 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hx (DVD Quality)’. Then click ‘Apply’.
You will need to repeat this step for all Dante Virtual Soundcard channels.
Next, while in the Sound Control Panel, select the ‘Playback’ tab. Select
‘DVS Transmit 1-2’ and click ‘Properties’.
In the ‘Advanced’ tab, change the default format to ‘2 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hx (DVD Quality)’. Then click ‘Apply’.
Again you will need to repeat this step for all Dante Virtual Soundcard channels.
Launch the QuickLink Control Panel. You will now need to hard restart the software for the changes to take place. Press and hold the refresh icon for 10 seconds. Once closed, reopen the Control Panel from the desktop.
On your input device, click ‘Settings’.
Under audio input, select the Dante Virtual Soundcard channel you would like to use.
