Adding a Game Capture source to a scene

The Game Capture source allows you to capture and add any game that you're playing on your PC into your StudioPro production.

To select the game capture you wish to add into your scene firstly, select the scene you wish to add it into then, click the plus.png icon within the sources window.

The first setting you'll need to check is Mode. You can capture either a fullscreen app, a specific window or a foreground window with a hotkey (this can be set in the Hotkeys tab).

Once you have made the appropriate selection and provided you have a game running on your PC, you should see the game appear in your production. Make sure you're happy with your other available settings and then click OK

If you wish to capture the audio of the game too, you will need to add this separately. You can do this by adding Desktop Audio as a default audio device. To do this, open up the Settings window, click the Audio tab and then activate one of the two Desktop audio devices in Audio Devices. Then click Apply

You should then see this in the Audio Mixer. Bear in mind, this device will be active throughout the entire project (unless muted) as indicated by the greyed out ON button.

With your Audio and Video all set up you are ready to start gaming! Make sure you've checked all your streaming or recording settings before you get going.
