Media Player Source

The Media Player in QuickLink StudioPro is a powerful tool that allows you to manage and play multiple media files such as videos, audio clips, or images directly within your scenes. With playlist support, live editing, file reordering, and looping options, the Media Player is ideal for creating dynamic, media-rich presentations or broadcasts.

How to enable Media Player

  • Navigate to settings by clicking the cog in the bottom left-hand corner.
  • Navigate to the "Advanced" tab
  • Scroll down to the Dock Configuration section and make sure the “Media Player” option is selected.
  • Click “Ok” to apply this.
  • You will now see a Media Player tab next to Sources
  • To use the Media Player you will need to add it as a source to your scene
  • To do this, click the “Add source” button and select “Media Player”
  • Once added you will then see this represented in a tab above the media player
  • You can then click the “+” button to add your media sources
  • You can then start configuring your setup

  • The ‘SET IN’ button marks the starting point of the clip, and the ‘SET OUT’ button marks the ending point. This lets you define the exact section of the clip you want to play.

  • The loop button continuously repeats the currently selected media file, following the playback range defined by your ‘SET IN’ and ‘SET OUT’ points.

  • The Auto-Play Next button automatically plays the next media file when the current one ends. When combined with the loop button, it will cycle through all available files in order—for example, playing the first, then the second, then the third, and then returning to the first.

  • Auto - Stop when not in program. Restart when transitioned to program
Pause- Pause when not in program. Unpause when transitioned to program
Play- Always play even when not in program

You can:

  • Queue multiple files
  • Reorder files by dragging
  • Loop files
  • Edit the playlist live
  • Control/set runtime for each file
