Bandwidth Control for NDI Streams

Bandwidth control for NDI streams has been implemented to optimise network usage by switching dynamically between High and Low quality streams depending on whether the source is actively being outputted.

This will help reduce bandwidth usage on the network by ensuring the correct stream is being received by the software while maximising quality for outputs.

(Please note if you plan on outputting the NDI stream constantly you should leave Bandwidth Control turned off)

Adding an NDI Stream

After you have logged into the StudioPro software you will have to then add an NDI source to your selected scene by either pressing the "+" button or right clicking in the scene and adding a "Video - NDI Source", give the NDI source a suitable name and click "OK"

(Please refer to these knowledge base articles on more info on how to Login to StudioPro and adding an Source into StudioPro)

Adding Bandwidth Control

After you have added the NDI source you will then need to select which NDI stream you want to assign, you can do this by clicking the "NDI Source Name" dropdown box and then clicking on the correct NDI stream.

After you have selected the NDI stream you want to use, to add the Bandwidth control you will need to click the "Bandwidth Control" checkbox.

After you have finalized any other settings you may want to change for the NDI source you will then click "OK" and you will have applied Bandwidth Control to your NDI stream within QuickLink StudioPro.
