StudioPro just got a serious upgrade. It now works with NDI 6, the latest version of NewTek’s video-over-IP protocol.
You can now send crisp, high-quality audio and video across your regular network — with virtually zero delay. Whether you're live streaming, running a broadcast, or managing an AV setup, NDI 6 makes everything smoother, faster, and more reliable.
What’s new in NDI 6?
Full HDR support – You can now send native 10-bit HDR video over IP.
Better performance – Streams are faster, more reliable, and use slightly less bandwidth, reducing strain on your network without sacrificing quality.
How to use;
In StudioPro, just choose the NDI Source option from the Source list.
You can then select your NDI source and configure your required settings;
A breakdown of these settings are below;
Source name-
Choose which NDI stream on your network to use.
Behavior
What happens when the source isn’t visible:
Pause – Stops when not in preview/program (saves system resources).
KeepAlive– Keeps running even when not displayed.
Restart – Reloads the stream each time it’s cut into program.
Bandwidth
Highest – Highest quality, higher bandwidth use.
Lowest – Lower quality, lower bandwidth.
Audio only
Under Show Advanced
Audio/Video Sync(Framesync) – Keeps audio and video synced together. Only turn this on if you notice sync issues.
Request Hardware Acceleration – Lets your graphics card handle decoding, which can reduce CPU load.
YUV Range
Limited – Standard color range (default).
Full – Use only if your source sends full-range video.
YUV Color Space
BT.601 – Standard for SD video.
BT.709 – Standard for HD video.
Latency Mode
Normal (Safe) – Most stable, adds a small buffer.
Low – Less buffering, lower delay, slightly less stable.
Lowest (Unbuffered) – Minimal delay, but more likely to stutter or drop frames.
