How do I remove Pillarboxing on Zoom callers?

When introducing Zoom callers who join on mobile devices, you may notice Pillarboxing (black bars on the left and right sides of the video).  This happens as a result of Zoom being 4:3, with StudioEdge being 16:9 by default.

This can be easily resolved with the Crop feature, which will automatically resize and crop the Zoom caller video, removing any black bars on the sides (also known as Pillarboxing), and ensuring that your Zoom callers video fills your frame.

Here is an example of a Zoom caller on mobile, with Pillarboxing.

To resolve this, ensure that the FEATURES tab is selected, then toggle on the Crop feature.

Once enabled, your Zoom callers video feed will be cropped so that it fits the whole screen, giving you an output without black bars.
