How to assign a friendly name to your StudioEdge Server

Within this article, you will learn how to assign a friendly name to your QuickLink StudioEdge™ device.

This will allow you to personalise your StudioEdge, making it easier to manage your workflow.

Firstly, you will need to log in to the QuickLink StudioEdge web interface. Visit the QuickLink StudioEdge login (edge.quicklink.network), enter your QuickLink Studio username and password, then press Login.

If you do not already have a QuickLink Studio user, click Create an account and follow the steps to create a new account. Detailed instructions for creating an account can be found here.

Once logged in, you will enter the StudioEdge Dashboard, where you will find your connected StudioEdge devices. 

Connect to the StudioEdge server that you would like to rename.

Once connected, you will be presented with the StudioEdge control interface. Click the settings tab, shown below.

Once the settings Window launches, you will have an option to change the StudioEdge Display Name.

Enter your preferred name in the text box and click save, to take effect. 

To confirm that the server name has now changed, you can see it in both the StudioEdge GUI and StudioEdge Dashboard.
