Features are filters within StudioEdge that can be applied to remote callers (including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and StudioCall), that are designed to improve the quality, consistency and presentation of callers. These enhancements operate per channel, processing video and audio in real time using NVIDIA‑accelerated AI to deliver professional results.
Features can be enabled from the Settings tab of a StudioEdge channel. Please note, Filters will only appear once a channel is assigned to Zoom, Microsoft Teams or StudioCall.
The current Features available are as follows:
- Eye Contact — Corrects gaze in real time so remote guests appear to speak naturally and directly to camera.
- Virtual Background — Add clean, studio-quality image or video backgrounds that keep guests looking professional without green screens.
- Denoising — Restore video clarity by reducing compression artefacts and macro blocking.
- Auto Framing — Intelligent tracking keeps guests naturally framed and perfectly centred, even as they shift or move.
- Crop — Crops incoming caller feeds (such as from Zoom mobile) to 16:9, removing pillarboxing and ensuring a full-frame display.
- Noise Suppression — Automatically eliminates clicks, hums, traffic noise and other background distractions.
- Color Correction — Balance lighting, contrast and colour levels in real time to keep guests looking natural, consistent and broadcast-ready across different cameras and environments. Reduces issues caused by poor lighting, webcams and mixed colour temperatures without requiring manual adjustment.
