Using QuickLink StudioPro you can very easily stream your productions to SproutVideo, a powerful live and on-demand video hosting platform for businesses.
Setting up your stream to SproutVideo is easy! To achieve this, firstly head to the SproutVideo website and sign into your account. If you do not already have an account, you can start a free trial here.
Once logged in, select LIVE from the menu.
Click CREATE NEW LIVE STREAM.
Enter a title for your SproutVideo livestream, choose the Latency that suits your requirements, then click CREATE STREAM & MANAGE SETTINGS.
If you wish, add a live stream description, tags, poster frame and configure privacy and player options. Next, on the Settings tab, copy and make a note of the RTMP URL and Stream Key, this will need to be input in QuickLink StudioPro.
Returning to QuickLink StudioPro, open the settings by selecting the icon from the menu.
Within the Stream tab, click Add Target within the RTMP section.
Enter a friendly name for your stream (I.e. SproutVideo Stream).
Next, paste the Stream URL copied previously into RTMP Server, and paste the Stream Key into RTMP Key. Click OK.
You have now successfully configured your SproutVideo stream. When you are ready to begin streaming, simply click Start Streaming.
Your stream will begin, and a timer will show the duration of your stream.
Returning to SproutVideo, you will now see a live preview of your production.
When you're ready to stop streaming, simply click Stop Streaming.
