QuickLink StudioPro now supports Isolated Recording as well as NDI. This lets you record every camera, microphone, and media source as its own separate file, instead of only saving the final mixed output. So you get more flexibility in post-production—perfect for editing, switching angles, or fixing audio later.
To set this up you will need to do the following:
- Click the “+” button at the bottom of the interface below the sources box
- Select ISO Recorder or NDI Recorder
- Once added you will see either “ISO Recorder 1” or "NDI Recorder 1" appear. To configure NDI, right-click on the recorder to select the NDI source. For ISO Recorder right click and it will open the ISO Recorder page
- Select the Source you’d like record - in this case we've chosen Media Player
Record
- Path - Select your file path for where the recording will be stored
- Filename Formatting - Allows you to prefix the file with date/time.
- Rec Format - mp4, mov, mkv
Automatic File Splitting
- Split Time - specify how long the recorded file should be for each file.
- Split Size - specify how large the recorded file should be for each file.
- Max Seconds - specify how long the recorded file should be for the whole file.
Once done click OK
To start/stop the recording, simply left-click the recorder again - Your recording will then be present in your chosen location
