Streaming to Facebook Live

Using StudioPro you can very easily stream your productions to Facebook.

To stream your production on Facebook, go to Facebook.com, and sign in to a user account that manages the Facebook Page you would like to stream using.

Navigate to your Facebook page. Below the post creation, click Create Live.

Once Facebook's Live Producer opens, enter a title, and message for your live post.

Next, locate the Getting Started section, then select Use stream key. Copy and make a note of both the Stream URL and Stream key.

At this point it is good practice to select your stream latency. Locate the Settings section, then expand Stream latency. By default the stream latency is set to Auto, however we would recommend this is changed depending on your production. For a stream where you do not plan to interact with your audience, it is recommended that Normal latency is selected to achieve a higher quality stream. If you would like to interact with your audience, it is recommended that the Low latency option is selected.

Returning to StudioPro, open the settings by selecting the gear__3_.png icon. Within the Stream tab, select RTMP then Add Target.

Enter a name for your target (i.e Facebook Live). Enter the Stream URL copied earlier and paste into RTMP Server. Next, copy the Steam key copied and paste into RTMP Key.

It is recommended that StudioPro Setting is used for both the Video Settings and Audio Settings options.

To save your Facebook Live stream settings, click OK.

Now you have configured your Facebook Live streaming settings, you are now ready to start streaming. To start streaming, open the settings by selecting the gear__3_.png icon. Within the Stream tab, select the Start Streaming button alongside the Facebook Live target.
