Applying a bandwidth cap on a guest

You may find when you're in a call that you notice a guest has a poor connection. In this case, it is possible to apply a bandwidth cap to their upload. This reduces the risk of your guest losing connection to the QuickLink StudioManager.

To apply this, when a guest is in a room select the users device, or select the settings icon next to their device list.

To apply a bandwidth cap on the guest enter your desired cap in the BandWidth (Kbps) field. This can be configured from 128 Kbps to 4000 Kbps (4 MB). Then press Apply to save. Please note, that the lower the bandwidth cap entered, the lower quality you will be able to receive from your guest.
