Using the Cre8 you can very easily stream your productions to Dacast.
Setting up your stream to Dacast is simple. To achieve this, first visit the Dacast website and sign into your account. Once on the Dashboard, navigate to the Live Streams tab from the menu on the left-hand side.
On the Live Streams page, click Create to create a live stream.
Within the pop up window, enter a title for your stream and select the appropriate source region. Once entered, click Create.
Once created you will be redirected to your stream settings. Within the General tab, select Encoder Setup to view your stream key and URL.
From here your stream URL, key and username/password will be displayed. Make a note of the URL, stream key and username/password.
Returning to Cre8, open up the Setting window by selecting the settings cog, then navigate to the Stream tab.
Select RTMP checkbox, then click Add Target.
Enter a friendly name for your Stream (i.e Dacast Stream). Paste the URL copied previously into the RTMP Server box. Next, paste the Stream Key copied previously into the RTMP Key box. Lastly enter the username and password from Dacast into the Username and Password fields. When done, click OK to apply your stream settings.
Your Dacast stream is now configured and you are ready to begin streaming. When you are ready to stream, click Start Streaming.
Your stream will now initiate and be streamed live to your Dacast channel. To stop streaming, press Stop Streaming in the bottom right hand corner of the main Cre8 interface or from the Streaming tab in the Settings window.
