Using StudioPro you can very easily stream your productions to Instagram using Yellow Duck.
For best results when streaming to Instagram you will want to change your production to 9:16 (1080x1920). To achieve this, open your StudioPro settings and navigate to the Video tab. Change the Base and Output to 1080x1920.
Build your production to appear as you wish in a 9:16 aspect ratio.
Once ready to setup Instagram streaming, you will need to install Yellow Duck. Visit the Yellow Duck, and click Download for Windows.
Once the Yellow Duck application is installed and open, click Start Now.
Enter the login details of the Instagram account that you wish to stream to. When entered, click Log In & Start.
Copy and make a note of the RTMP URL and Stream key. From here you can also enable/disable commenting by toggling Allow commenting.
Returning to StudioPro, open the settings by selecting the icon.
Within the Stream tab, click Add Target below RTMP.
Enter a name for your target (i.e Instagram Live). Enter the SRTML URL copied earlier and paste into RTMP Server. Next, copy the Steam key copied and paste into RTMP Key. If you would like to use custom streaming configuration, please also do so from this window. When ready, click OK to add your stream target.
Now you have configured your Instagram streaming settings, you are now ready to start streaming. To start streaming, open the settings by selecting the icon. Within the Stream tab, select the Start Streaming button alongside your newly created target. Once streaming has started, a stream duration timer will appear.
Return to Yellow Duck. When ready, click Start broadcast.
Once your broadcast has started, a LIVE indicator will appear in the top-right corner for Yellow Duck. Your production will now be streaming live to Instagram.
When you wish to stop your stream, simple click Stop broadcast within the Yellow Duck application. In addition, within the StudioPro settings, click Stop Streaming.
