TikTok is an increasingly popular social media platform with over 1 Billion users and 3 Billion downloads worldwide. Using StudioPro you can very easily stream your productions to TikTok.
Please note that to stream live on TikTok you must have at least 1000 followers on the platform.
For best results when streaming to TikTok you will want to change your production to 9:16 (1080x1920). To achieve this, open your StudioPro settings and navigate to the Video tab. Change the Base and Output to 1080x1920.
Build your production to appear as you wish in a 9:16 aspect ratio.
Once you've configured your production, you are now ready to stream to TikTok. Navigate to TikTok and log in to the account that you wish to live stream on.
Once logged in, from the left-menu click Go LIVE.
Next you will need to configure your stream settings. Enter a title and topic for your stream. From here you can also upload a cover image if required. When entered, click Save.
You will be re-directed to your TikTok live stream dashboard. Copy and make a note of the Server URL and Stream key.
Returning to StudioPro, open the settings by selecting the icon.
Within the Stream tab, click Add Target below RTMP.
Enter a name for your target (i.e TikTok Stream). Enter the Server URL copied earlier and paste into RTMP Server. Next, copy the Steam key copied and paste into RTMP Key. If you would like to use custom streaming configuration, please also do so from this window. When ready, click OK to add your stream target.
Now you have configured your TikTok streaming settings, you are now ready to start streaming. To start streaming, open the settings by selecting the icon. Within the Stream tab, select the Start Streaming button alongside your newly created target. Once streaming has started, a stream duration timer will appear.
When you are ready to stop streaming, simply click Stop Streaming in the bottom right-hand corner of the StudioPro interface or within the Stream settings. A prompt will ask you to confirm, press Yes.
